DAY 1.Transportation from La Paz or Puno to Copacabana (3  4 hours), take the boat to the Island of the Sun (1 hour), land near Pilkokaina ruins and have a typical aptapi. Then hike one hour to overnight in ecolodge La Estancia. (LD)

DAY 2.DONT MISS AN EARLY SUNRISE! Take the boat north to the Chincana ruins and the Sacred Rock (1 hour), short hike to Challapampa, then boat to Challa, visit a cultural museum. Hike uphill to the ecolodge. Afternoon free to enjoy the peace and beauty of the area. (BLD)

DAY 3.Hike through the village of Yumani in the Garden of the Incas, to take the boat to the Island of the Moon, visit its ruins, then to Copacabana, visit the famous Virgen Morena and its church, lunch and stroll of town. Transportation to La Paz or Puno (3 hours). (BL)
